Membership Terms (AGB)

These terms apply to membership applications made through the website of the Grund association, to the membership itself, to the three packages and to the Grund referral programme. They supplement the association's statutes. In the event of a conflict, mandatory law and the statutes take precedence.

1. Scope

These terms apply to membership applications made on the Grund website, to active membership, to the Basic, Silver and Gold memberships, and to the Grund referral programme. They supplement the association's statutes; where a provision conflicts with mandatory law or with the statutes, the latter take precedence.

2. Application and how membership starts

Membership can start in one of two ways.

a) Direct route (Stripe Checkout). The button on the chosen membership level opens the Stripe-hosted Checkout page. Membership at the chosen level begins when Checkout completes successfully and the first membership fee is collected successfully, at the time confirmed by Stripe. Before submitting, you can review and correct your details on the Checkout page, where you also accept these membership terms and the privacy notice.

b) Optional form without payment. The separate form on the website does not trigger payment and does not by itself create membership. Grund reviews the enquiry and helps you choose the right level; you can then start membership yourself through the matching Checkout. We do not charge membership fees retroactively.

3. Basic membership – CHF 35/month

For prevention and for "nothing is wrong yet, but I have a question" situations. Includes:

  • basic strategy and orientation,
  • going through a contract, payslip, GAV or employer letter together,
  • calculating the claim,
  • preparing a formal demand letter.

Indicative response time: up to 14 working days from receipt of the complete, usable documentation.

Court support within the Basic membership: after exactly 12 consecutive months of uninterrupted Basic membership with fees settled, in an employment dispute arising later you may also receive support in preparing and accompanying the court process, still at CHF 35/month, within Grund's available capacity. The entitlement is not retroactive and includes no guarantee of outcome.

4. Silver membership – CHF 120/month

For an employment dispute that has already arisen. In addition to the Basic membership:

  • targeted employment law support,
  • calculating the claim,
  • preparing a formal demand letter,
  • preparing claim or procedural documents and evidence.

Indicative first review: 5 working days from receipt of the complete documentation.

Interpreting at a hearing is available only with prior confirmation in writing, subject to availability, for one occasion and within the framework provided by Grund.

5. Gold membership – CHF 190/month

The Silver elements, plus:

  • express priority,
  • priority contact,
  • the possibility of being accompanied to a hearing, subject to prior arrangement, location and availability.

Grund cannot undertake automatic or unlimited personal attendance.

6. The framework of our support

Grund provides advice, strategy, calculation, document preparation and support throughout the process. The matter and the decisions belong to the member; the member acts in their own name.

Language of communication

Initial contact through the website or by email is available in Hungarian, German or English. Before individual guidance, case work or accompaniment begins, Grund and the member will agree the working language in writing, for example by email, subject to Grund's current staffing and language capacity. The language used on the website, in a form or for initial contact does not create an entitlement to personal assistance, translation, interpreting or document preparation in a particular language. Translation or interpreting is included only if confirmed in writing in advance; Grund covers external costs only if this is separately confirmed in writing.

Grund is not a law firm, does not undertake automatic legal representation and does not guarantee any outcome. An external lawyer can only be involved under a separate agreement.

7. What the member is responsible for

  • providing true and complete information,
  • flagging deadlines immediately,
  • sending legible, complete documents,
  • cooperating with Grund,
  • observing the member's own official deadlines.

Grund is not liable for deadlines missed because documents were handed over late or incompletely, or because of the member's own omission.

8. Refusal and suspension

Grund may refuse or suspend a matter, in particular in the following cases: conflict of interest, an enquiry arriving too late, lack of cooperation, an unlawful or abusive request, lack of capacity, outstanding fees. Where possible we send a reasoned notice of the decision.

9. Fees and payment

Fees are stated in CHF per month as a recurring subscription fee.

In the direct Checkout, the chosen level, the amount and the recurring nature of the payment are shown before completion. Stripe then charges the stored payment method on the billing dates shown, until the membership ends.

Stripe may also offer a local currency based on your location. If you choose one, the converted amount and rate shown in Checkout apply; paying in CHF remains available.

No payment is taken through the optional no-payment form until a Checkout completes successfully.

Where a charge fails or fees are outstanding, the service may be suspended after a reminder. We do not charge fees retroactively.

10. Duration and notice

Membership is entered into for an indefinite period. Notice period: 3 months, to the last day of a calendar month. Notice must be given in writing, with identifiable member details, to info@jogvedo.ch. Grund confirms the notice in writing.

During the notice period the membership service continues while fees are paid. During an ongoing dispute, downgrading the package is only possible by prior written agreement.

Blocking the payment method, letting the card expire or unilaterally stopping the Stripe charges does not by itself end the membership; written notice under these terms is required.

11. External costs

The monthly fee does not automatically include court or authority fees, an external lawyer, translation, external interpreting, expert fees, postage, travel or enforcement costs. Grund bears such items only where it has expressly undertaken to do so in writing.

12. Complaints and contact

We accept complaints or comments at info@jogvedo.ch. We examine the complaint objectively and reply in writing.

13. Data protection

The details of data processing are set out in the Privacy Notice.

14. Liability

Grund's liability exists within the limits of mandatory law. We do not limit liability for intentional or grossly negligent conduct. Grund is not liable for indirect damage (for example lost profit) to the extent permitted by law.

15. Applicable law and place of jurisdiction

Swiss law applies to the membership relationship. Disputes are generally heard by the court at Grund's registered seat; mandatory consumer or other places of jurisdiction always remain reserved. We do not apply an exclusive jurisdiction clause in favour of Visp.

16. Changes to these terms

Grund informs members of material changes to these terms at least 30 days in advance, by email or through a permanently accessible notice on the website. Referral entitlements already earned are not withdrawn retroactively.

17. Terms of the Grund referral programme

The Grund referral programme lets an active member with fees settled refer a new member and receive a CHF 100 reward for it.

Who may refer, and how

  • Only an active Grund member with fees settled may refer someone.
  • The referrer shares Grund's application page with their friend; the new member applies themselves.
  • The new member enters themselves the referrer's name and email address or phone number in the optional remarks field of the Stripe Checkout or of the no-payment enquiry form, or emails info@jogvedo.ch within 24 hours with the subject "Referral programme".
  • The referrer must not pass their friend's contact details to Grund without permission.
  • Each new member may have one referrer; self-referral is not possible.

Who counts as a valid new member

  • residence in Switzerland and the intention to stay longer term,
  • any membership (Basic, Silver, Gold) may be chosen.

When the reward becomes due

  • the new member remains active with fees settled for 3 full consecutive billing months,
  • refunded, disputed or unsuccessfully collected fees do not count,
  • on the day the entitlement arises, the referrer is also an active member with fees settled.

Paying out the reward

  • CHF 100 one-off reward,
  • paid to a bank account within 30 days of verifying that the conditions are met,
  • Grund may request the banking and KYC details needed for the payment,
  • any tax liability on the reward is borne by the recipient.

Communication and misuse

  • The referrer should tell their friend clearly that they may receive a CHF 100 reward.
  • In the event of misuse (for example false data, sham members, artificially created memberships) Grund may exclude the reward by reasoned decision.

Changing or ending the programme

Grund may change or end the programme with 30 days' prior notice; payment claims already earned are not affected.
